Mr. Toppin has served as the Executive Director of the Subchapter S Bank Association since 2006. He is also a Partner at the law firm of Kennedy, Toppin & Sutherland, LLP, where his practice focuses on representation of financial institutions concerning corporate, securities and regulatory matters. Mr. Toppin is a 2001 graduate of Texas Tech University where he received his BBA in Finance. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary's University School of Law in May 2007. Before joining the Association Mr. Toppin had experience working at a large multi-national financial institution, as well as at a community bank in Texas. Mr. Toppin is a member of the American Bar Association and the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association.
